Double Block and Bleed Valves

Reliable Double Block and Bleed Needle Valves and Double Block and Bleed Ball Valves

BuTech double block and bleed needle valves are designed for pressures up to 60,000 PSI (4137 bar) at 72°F (22°C) and our double block and bleed ball valves (B-N-B) are designed for pressures up to 15,000 PSI (1034 bar) at 72oF (22oC).

These valves are primarily made from 316 stainless steel; however they can be machined from other machinable alloys with special seal materials to meet your specific needs.

Benefits of Double Block and Bleed Valves:

  • minimized leakage points
  • reduced installation costs and maintenance requirements
  • the valves allow sections of a piping system to be isolated for maintenance, with a drain valve between them, insuring that unwanted pressure doesn’t get into the section being serviced
  • can be configured to connect up to most sizes of tubing with all connection styles.

Double Block and Bleed Valves are space- saving valves that eliminate the need for large and complicated multi-valve process instrumentation control panels. Instrumentation is critical for strict process control of industrial processes. BuTech double block and bleed valves increase safety and facilitate seamless process flow management by improving turnaround time on repair and maintenance, sampling, and flow diversion on instrumentation panels.

BuTech Double Block and Bleed Valves combine two isolating ball valves and a central needle bleed valve into one compact manifold for use in isolation, pressure and flow control systems:

Floating Ball Style Double Block and Bleed Valves

Floating ball double block and bleed valves offer a full port, each ball valve is quarter turn with built in stops, and is rated up to 15,000 PSI. In addition to our standard valves, BuTech can develop custom solutions.

Trunnion Style Double Block and Bleed Valves

Trunnion ball valves and trunnion needle valves styles offer a full port, each ball valve is quarter turn with built in stops, and is rated up to 10,000 PSI.

The Benefits of BuTech Double Block and Bleed valves are minimized leakage points, reduced installation costs and maintenance requirements, as the valves allow sections of a piping system to be isolated for maintenance, with a drain valve between them, ensuring that unwanted pressure does not get into the section being that is being serviced.

BuTech double block and bleed valves are configurable and can be configured to connect up to most sizes of tubing with all connection styles. Double block and bleed valves are primarily made from 316 stainless steel; however, they can be machined from other machinable alloys with special seal materials to meet your specific needs.

Manifold Valves

In addition to double block and bleed valves, BuTech manufactures custom Manifold Valves for process instrumentation. These manifold valves are space-saving valves that remove the need for large and complicated multi-valve systems. This valve allows a system to connect to multiple sources and multiple destinations. The valve is configurable to connect up to most sizes of tubing with all connection styles. These Valves are primarily made from 316 stainless steel; however, they can be machined from other machinable alloys to meet your specific needs.
